Last weekend the Observer Food Monthly released Jay Rayner’s top 20 restaurants - the list was put together by Rayner to celebrate the 10th Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2013.

It is worth noting that the list is not ranked (they are all deemed equal) and have been picked from all over the country. There is a big representation from London, which is due to the “Capital having a greater concentration of good places in which to eat”.
