Dining out for Comic Relief

Competing for the north-west region in the currently-showing eight-week BBC 2 series is Chris Holland, head chef of the three AA-rosette restaurant at Alderly Edge Hotel in Cheshire.
Diners at the hotel will be able to taste the dishes he’s created for the programme in a new seasonal six-course tasting menu available until the end of March for £70 (with 10% going to Comic Relief).
The Victorian hotel in the ultra-smart village has double rooms for £95 with breakfast.
Across the Pennines and competing for the north-east is Stephanie Moon, from Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, Yorkshire. For hotel guests she has created a special Comic Relief afternoon tea featuring crab custard pie and red nose truffles costing £20 (with £4 to Comic Relief).
B&B at the Grade I-listed Regency mansion, recently voted TripAdvisor’s top UK Hotel, costs £133 for two.
