1. The Food
All of the FIH Hotels pride themselves on the quality of the food they serve in their restaurants and this will not change with their Christmas Feasts. Christmas is the one time of the year that it is acceptable to eat as much as you like, so it couldn’t be more perfect being at a hotel with fabulous food and plenty of it.
2. Relaxing
Christmas is actually a holiday, and to me a holiday is when you aren’t at work and you should just sit back and relax. However, it has to be said that preparing for Christmas and cooking the Christmas dinner can be one of the most stressful times of the year. If you spend Christmas in a hotel you are able to sit back and have everything sorted out for you. No cooking, no cleaning and certainly no washing up.
3. The Atmosphere
Christmas decorations always put a smile on my face, but hotels always seem to have such bigger Christmas trees and more beautiful decorations. Add these to the beautifully decorated interiors to make for a cosy and festive atmosphere. Such warm welcomes make you feel right at home. Enjoy real log fires and relax in sumptuous luxurious lounges.
4. The Surroundings
The Fine Individual Hotels are located all around the UK, but wherever the vicinity, there is always something new and beautiful to look at. For example the hotels in the Lake District are surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. Reducing the stresses of Christmas by spending it at a hotel, has the added benefits of giving you precious hours of free time to explore the grounds of the hotel and the surrounding areas.
