One lucky winner will enjoy a relaxing mid week break for two-nights in one of the Lakeside’s luxury lake view rooms. Your beautiful room features a stunning Italian marble bathroom and a small seating area by the window, which overlooks Lake Windermere.
Each morning of your break, you will wake up after a refreshing nights sleep to enjoy a delicious breakfast, served between 7:30am to 11am – so you’ll either be able to earn a well-deserved lie in, or get up early and explore all that the Lake District has to offer.
The Hotel:
The Lakeside is a luxurious four-star hideaway in the heart of the English Lake District. It is a boutique hotel which has seamlessly blended the country house feel with contemporary four-star luxury to create a beautiful homely feel.
The hotel has 75 rooms which are decorated where contemporary design meets country house theme. Each room is comfortable, stylish, warm and ultimately welcoming.
Guests have a choice of two superb restaurants; the two AA Rosette Lakeview restaurant, where you can dine in candlelight and enjoy fine wines from our cellar to set the mood for a delicious dining experience every evening; and the John Ruskin’s Brasserie, which serves brasserie favourites in an informal, bustling atmosphere with fantastic service.
Hotel guests can also use the spa, pool and fully equipped gym. The visually stunning 17m pool complete with etched glass panels of the Lakeland landscape provides scenic views of Lake Windermere.
