The Salthouse Harbour is an artfully designed boutique Hotel and Restaurant in Suffolk.

The Salthouse Harbour Hotel is a contemporary warehouse of rich modern interiors and rooms adorned with vintage furniture, sculptures and eclectic art and are situated in an enviable waterfront location. The sea-salted brickwork exterior has been restored & rejuvenated and it brings an eclectic blend of urban and country, vintage chic and cutting edge design to the Ipswich quayside. It is independently owned, with a non-traditional style, so you can expect professional yet relaxed staff with a thoughtful and unpretentious attention to detail.

There are 70 luxurious, contemporary and individually designed bedrooms, all equipped to the highest standards. There are four types of bedroom at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel; The Penthouse Suite, The Sail Loft Marina rooms, The Sail Loft rooms and The Salthouse rooms.

The Eaterie restaurant provides a wonderful view of the waterfront and serves modern dishes, which always surprises with a curious twist of something deliciously different. The head chef is forever foraging for fresh local produce when he’s not in the kitchen. His passion for supporting Suffolk’s small holders and independent producers is with good cause when you sample some of the tasty delights his team produce.

The Salthouse Harbour Hotel were delighted to win the category 'Best Large Hotel in Suffolk' at the Tourism in Suffolk Awards held at Trinity Park on Thursday 9th September. This award is aimed at hotels and townhouses with more than 35 bedrooms. The emphasis was on quality and impeccable standards of accommodation and service.
