The Hoste is a nationally acclaimed 17TH century coaching Inn, located in one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages and a few minutes’ drive from its famous beaches.

Over the years it has grown enormously and is now one of the finest boutique hotels in the UK.  In May 2013 we launch a new garden room. This beautifully designed light and contemporary centre will allow for a complete programme of stylish Jazz evenings, regular parties and weddings. As part of this expansion the Hoste will gain four new bedrooms.

The Hoste currently boasts 58 bedrooms across six properties: the main hotel, the boutique Vine House hotel, the Railway Carriage and three holiday cottages.

There’s something for everyone at the Hoste. A cosy front bar, lounge, conservatory, cellar for underground dining and three main restaurants. There is an intimate and luxurious beauty spa located on the ground floor of the courtyard wing. At the hotel’s centre, one of the finest kitchens in the country with reputedly ‘the world’s largest Aga’ serves our three main restaurants. Under the guidance of Head Chef Gemma Arnold we serve seasonal, locally sourced food. This, combined with an 150 bin wine list featuring some of the world’s finest wines, creates a recipe that works very well.

A hotel since 1651, the Hoste is a unique and special place to stay. Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson was once a regular visitor.
