The Rose & Crown is a quintessential English coaching inn set in the idyllic village of Romaldkirk, on the middle of three village greens. It overlooks the stocks and water pump and stands next to the magnificent Saxon church which is known to the locals as ‘The Cathedral of the Dale’.
The hotel has twelve en-suite bedrooms which are split between the Main house and the Courtyard. The 7 main house rooms offer charm and comfort with some traditional features. The five coutyard rooms have a more modern and contemporary style with a little more independence. All are beautifully appointed with essentials such as TV's, DVD's, Bose sound systems and free wifi.
There are two choices for your dining experience; the delightful oak panelled restaurant where you can enjoy a four-course a la carte dinner or the charming brasserie which has a more informal atmosphere and menu. Drinks can be enjoyed in the cosy bar with its open fire place, spindle back chairs and snug decor or in the snug residents lounge.
