Afternoon Teas

The traditional afternoon tea played a major part in the story of Gibbon Bridge. Janet's dream, over 30 years ago, was to open a small cafe in which passing cyclists and walkers could enjoy a pot of tea and freshly baked scones. Now, with the Gibbon Bridge bakery and the opulent surroundings of the Orangery, Conservatory or Lounge the tempting afternoon tea menus range from a pot of tea and scones to champagne, sandwiches, scones, preserves, cream & cakes. We also have Musical afternoon teas to the accompaniment of a pianist. For full details or to book please telephone 01995 61456 (booking is essential).
